IBC was founded in 1986 by a former Illinois Bell PBX foreman with many years of industry experience―from wiring Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg in the 1970's to Hines Hospital and the Sears Tower.  With this invaluable experience he set out on his own to provide what is now known today as one of Chicagoland's most responsive, experienced, knowledgeable & quality communications contractor providing voice/data products and services.

IBC's corporate office is located in Wood Dale.  This centrally located facility makes it easy and efficient to service the Chicagoland area.

IBC has made strategic allegiances with the best manufacturers available.  IBC spares no expense when it comes to training its personnel.  Many IBC journeymen have BICSI credits and hold BICSI Installer and Technician Certification.

IBC is a privately held, female owned firm with WBE & FBE. certifications.
